CLASS 101 – CHURCH MEMBERSHIP

“You are members of God’s very own family…and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian.” Ephesians 2:19(LB)

Introduction to our beliefs, purposes and structure. Are you a regular attendee and interested in becoming a member of The Bridge Church family? Learn why The Bridge Church exists, where we’re headed, what we believe, how to belong, and what the expectations are of our members. All new members are expected to take 101.

Purpose: To help you become a fully functioning and fulfilled member of The Bridge Church family.

In 101 you will discover:

• The story and purposes of The Bridge Church
• The strategy and structure of The Bridge Church
• How to become a Christian
• What it means to be a member

CLASS 201 – SPIRITUAL MATURITY

“Take the time and the trouble to keep yourself spiritually fit.” 1 Timothy 4:7 (Ph)

Helps you grow in 4 spiritual habits necessary to Christian maturity. Are you already a member of The Bridge Church, but interested in going on to maturity? 201 focuses on the four basic habits every Christian needs to develop in order to grow to spiritual maturity: Bible study, prayer, stewardship and fellowship. All members of The Bridge Church are encouraged to attend this class.

Purpose: To help you develop the skills and habits necessary for spiritual growth.

It is recommended that you first take Class 101.

In 201 you will discover:

• How to establish a daily quiet time
• How to pray effectively
• How to become a giving person
• How to develop close Christian friends

CLASS 301 – DISCOVERING MY MINISTRY

“God has given you each some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other…” 1 Peter 4:10 (LB)

Would you like to understand how God has shaped you for meaningful service? This class helps you understand how God has gifted you to minister and make a difference in His kingdom.

Purpose: To help you identify your spiritual gifts and talents in order to make your unique contribution in a place of ministry.

It is recommended that you first take Classes 101 and 201.

In 301 you will discover:

• How to fulfill God’s purpose for you
• Your unique gifts and talents
• How to match them with specific ministries

CLASS 401 – DISCOVERING MY LIFE MISSION

“Life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus–the work telling others the Good News about God’s mighty kindness and love.” Acts 20:24

Are you a member of The Bridge Church who wants to know more about sharing your faith in a way that leads people to accepting Jesus as the Lord and Savior of their lives? Then 401 is for you. This class will lead you through the process of understanding God’s purpose for your life and sharing your faith. You can become a world-changer in the name of Christ.

Purpose: To help you define and fulfill your life mission in the world by living a purpose driven life according to God’s priorities, and become a world-changer in the name of Christ.

It is recommended that you first take classes 101, 201 and 301.

In 401 you will discover:

• How to stretch your God-given potential
• How to decide what’s important
• How to build on your strengths
• How to lead someone to Christ
